Those mountain landscapes of glowing aspen will soon be covered in snow. And with the approach of that fun, white fluffy stuff, it’s time to buy your ski pass before Opening Day — and before prices creep up to their highest. The Epic vs. Ikon battle of the behemoths still rages, but many single resort passes offer shared days at partner resorts. And new developments this season include Arapahoe Basin cutting ties with Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass, and Copper Mountain hosting the Dew Tour next spring. Ikon Pass
Here’s your other megapass option, and it includes 41 global destinations, 5 continents, 12 states, 4 Canadian provinces, 4,857 total acres, 719 lifts. In Colorado, you get various degrees of access to Aspen Snowmass, Copper, Eldora, Steamboat and Winter Park. And new this year is access to Arapahoe Basin.
