A new sophisticated cocktail spot, Bar Thirty-Three, is poised to make a mark as it prepares to open its doors in the basement beneath Indvstry Video Bar. Both will be located in the historic Municipal Utilities Building, site of the former Gold Room.
The visionary behind Bar Thirty-Three is Joel McVay, a former bartender returning to the craft after more than a decade away. His new concept aims to be more than an ordinary bar. Rather, it will be a sensory exploration. Every element, from the subtle glow of the dim lights and the leather-bound menus to the meticulously chosen glassware and carefully crafted cocktails, contributes to an experience that should transcend the ordinary.
In addition to the thoughtful design, guests at Bar Thirty-Three can expect seasonal drinks and non-alcoholic renditions on the menu in the main bar area and a smaller menu featuring classic cocktails offered to guests in a more private upstairs space
