Beaver Creek Alpine Table Takes Michelin Dining to the Mountaintop

Michelin chefs and restaurants meet gorgeous mountain cabins in Beaver Creek’s Alpine Table Cabin Chef Series. This might be your best meal of the year — if you can get a reservation.

Local foodies and skiers looking for special dining experiences in the Colorado mountains can level up their dinner — figuratively and literally — with some of Colorado’s best restaurants at Beaver Creek’s Alpine Table Cabin Chef Series. The elevated, on-mountain dinners are bringing some all-star chefs from Colorado Michelin Star restaurants to several restaurants at Beaver Creek Resort this winter. And the venues are Beaver Creek’s gorgeous on-mountain, fine dining cabins — think haute mountain style with big logs, big fireplaces and big views. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, these have the potential to be the best dining experience you have all year.

The Alpine Table offers guests a unique chance to pamper their palettes on the scenic setting of Beaver Creek’s slopes. The resort’s culinary team will collaborate with top guest chefs from regional Michelin-recognized culinary brands to create a new menu inspired by each cabin’s style. Each event will feature a collaborative multicourse tasting menu and include beverage pairings. Like Beaver Creek’s tagline says, these mountainside chef dinners are “not exactly roughing it.”

After introducing — and selling out —the concept last year, this winter’s expanded Alpine Table series will feature three weekends. So tickets will be limited, and, yes, they will sell out. The featured Colorado Michelin Star restaurants and brands are Blackbelly Market & Restaurant from Boulder, Beckon from Denver and Tavernetta Vail. Reservations are now open to the public at beavercreek.com.

Beano’s Cabin x Blackbelly Market & Restaurant

Jan. 26-27, 2025

Both executive chefs in this collaboration are inspired by exceptional ingredients from exceptional sources, with a passion for whole-animal butchery. Beano’s Cabin is located in a serene alpine meadow at the base of Larkspur Bowl and takes inspiration from what lives and grows around it. Next to the restaurant’s summer garden is a replica of the original Beano’s Cabin, which was opened in 1896 by Polish immigrant and homesteader Frank “Beano” Bienkowski.

Blackbelly Market & Restaurant in Boulder (and Denver) is recognized for its locally sourced focus. Its numerous award include a Michelin Guide Green Star for Sustainable Gastronomy, and Butcher Kelly Kawachi was named the 2023 Culinary Professional Award Winner by Micheline Guide Colorado.

Zach’s Cabin x Beckon

Feb. 23-24, 2025

Denver Michelin Star restaurant Beckon and Zach’s Cabin will come together to celebrate the finest regional and seasonal ingredients with a menu shaped by products served at their peak season. While highlighting culinary innovation, both restaurants are known for a welcoming  environment.

Zack’s Cabin is perched on the mountainside high above Bachelor Gulch with magnificent views of the Gore Range. Guests arrive at the mountain outpost by a starlight sleigh ride, pulled by a Beaver Creek snow cat to enjoy the fine-dining restaurant’s French Alsatian cuisine.

Along with the restaurant’s Michelin Star honors, Beckon’s Director of Experience Allison Anderson is the Michelin Guide Colorado 2024 Service Award Winner. Allie’s Cabin x Tavernetta Vail

March 27-28, 2025

The third and final Alpine Table collab pairs newly opened Tavernetta Vail at Four Seasons Resort Vail with Beaver Creek’s Allie’s Cabin. It invites guests to explore Italy’s rich regional cuisine through an exceptional culinary journey.

Allie’s Cabin is located in a mountainside aspen grove overlooking Beaver Creek Village. To reach it, guests are whisked up the mountain in a snow cat-pulled sleigh ride. Once there, they are welcomed into a warm experience of Italian tradition and refined Northern Italian fare to offer an experience that blends Italy’s celebrated traditions with warm, genuine hospitality.

Tavernetta Vail was created by the Michelin-recognized Frasca Hospitality Group — known for Boulder’s Frasca Food and Wine’s prestigious Michelin Star and Tavernetta Denver’s Bib Gourmand. The Michelin Guide even calls Tavernetta “an absolute stunner.” Opening this winter, Tavernetta Vail will offer a contemporary twist on Italian alpine fare.
