Give! Campaign Makes It Easy to Give Back to the Community

Want to make a difference? The Give! Campaign connects your generosity with 73 local nonprofits that make Colorado Springs a better place to live.

Giving has long been a part of the holiday season. As we share gifts with family and friends, it’s also the perfect time to give to the many nonprofits who give back to the community all year round. Focused days on the calendar like Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2) and Colorado Give Day (Dec. 9) give a good target to get our attention. And so does the annual Give! Campaign, which runs from Nov. 1 to Jan. 3.

For 16 years, the annual Give! Campaign has brought together a wide variety of organizations that invest their time, money and efforts into making Colorado Springs a better place for us all. The campaign is an easy and excellent way to support your favorite local causes, leverage your charitable donations with matching gifts, and get fun rewards for your generosity if you choose.

Since 2009, the Give! Campaign has raised nearly $20 million for more than 250 nonprofits. Its goal this year is to raise $1 million by Jan. 3. Its motto is “Live here, give here.” And all of the money that is raised here, stays here, going to the community nonprofits in El Paso and Teller counties that you choose. Reaching that goal depends on all of us. The idea is many people giving what they can. Many small gifts add up to a large total.

The process is easy at givepikespeak.org. You can browse through all of the nonprofits, see the leaderboard and track current giving totals, donate online and select rewards based on your gift amount. You can even give to multiple nonprofits with a single checkout and receipt. Every donation over $25 qualifies for a reward. Those exclusive perks and discounts include food and drinks, classes and memberships at partnering businesses and organizations.

Each year, local nonprofits apply to be part of the Give! Campaign. Many are repeat participants, but there are many new organizations too.

“I am honored to partner with these incredible nonprofits, each making a profound difference in our community,” says Victoria Norton, executive director of Give Pikes Peak. “Your generosity can shape budgets and programs for the year ahead, empowering these organizations to make an even greater impact. Together, let’s make this giving season a celebration of generosity and a catalyst for change.”

Here’s a list of all the 73 nonprofits with the Give Seal of Approval for 2025.
