How to Celebrate Pikes Peak Pride 2024

Join the LGBTQ+ community to celebrate acceptance, inclusion and pride in Colorado Springs this weekend. Here are all the highlights for the downtown festivities.

Downtown will be buzzing with celebration and inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community this weekend at the Pikes Peak Pride festival. The theme for the 2024 Pride celebration is “Unite With Pride,” and the festival will take place June 8-9 at Alamo Square Park downtown, next to the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. This year, all festival events, are free to attend, ensuring everyone can join in the celebration of diversity and inclusion. That includes a concert by American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis. With more than 130 vendors, live entertainment, a dedicated Youth Square and a vibrant parade, there’s something for everyone.

“Pikes Peak Pride is not just a festival, but a powerful demonstration of our commitment to diversity and inclusion,” said Jessica Laney, president of Pikes Peak Pride, in a press release. “We are proud to bring the community together to celebrate and support one another.”

Pikes Peak Pride Festival Central

Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9
10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

More than 130 vendors, live entertainment and food will be set up at Alamo Square Park. Youth Square focuses on activities for queer youth and allies, including art contests, an open mic and performances.

Saturday, June 8
4:00 p.m.

The winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 6 will give a headline performance at Alamo Square Park. 

Blake Lewis Live in Concert

Saturday, June 8
8:00-10:30 p.m.

Blake Lewis was runner-up on the sixth season of American Idol. The songwriter, performer, beatboxer and producer will perform at Alamo Square Park Saturday night. This is a ticketed event: $10 for General Admission, $100 for VIP access with a meet and greet. Get tickets here.

Pikes Peak Pride Parade

Sunday, June 9
11 a.m.

Tejon Street will come alive as the colorful Pride Parade makes it way down Tejon from Platte Avenue to Vermijo Avenue and Alamo Square Park. More than 70 organizations will be marching in Southern Colorado’s largest pride parade to celebrate inclusion and acceptance in Colorado Springs and beyond.

Pikes Peak Pride is dedicated to celebrating diversity, promoting inclusion and fostering a sense of community. “Pikes Peak Pride is a powerful demonstration of our commitment to diversity and inclusion,” Laney said. “We are thrilled to bring the community together to celebrate and support one another.”
