Miranda Lambert to Play Ford Amphitheater

All the details about the country music superstar Miranda Lambert concert in Colorado Springs at Ford Amphitheater.

Miranda Lambert is bringing her country swagger to Colorado Springs. The superstar will appear live in concert at Ford Amphitheater on Sept. 28 with special guest Randy Roger. Tickets go on sale for the general public Aug. 8 at 10 a.m.

Lambert has been a pioneering artist since releasing her debut album independently in 2001. She has brought her signature sass to arena rockers and heart-aching ballads. And her 10th solo studio album, Postcards from Texas, continued her unbroken streak of 10 consecutive Top 10s on the Top Country Albums chart. All that has made Lambert the most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history. And her brand has transcended music as a New York Times bestselling author and the first female restaurateur on Lower Broadway with her Tex-Mex cantina Casa Rosa, among other signature lines of clothing and wine.

Miranda Lambert’s Colorado Springs concert is sponsored by the Venu Arts and Culture Foundation, which will contribute $2 from every ticket sold to the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). The AFAAC helps support United States Air Force Academy athletes with funding across 27 intercollegiate sports.

“Generating financial support for Air Force Academy cadet-athletes is our primary mission, and we appreciate the opportunity to use this event to creatively support the future leaders in our Air and Space Forces,” said Dr. Nancy Hixson, CEO of AFAAC, in a press release. “We look forward to welcoming Miranda Lambert to Colorado Springs and Ford Amphitheater on Sept. 28.”

“Getting to partner with the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation on something that brings country music icons and community together means a lot to me,” said J.W. Roth, founder, chairman and CEO of Venu and owner of Ford Amphitheater. “Miranda Lambert hitting the Ford Amphitheater stage in benefit of the AFAAC and the VENU Foundation — it doesn’t get much better than that. I invite folks to come on out, not just for the show, but to support great music with a greater purpose.”
