There’s a new rooftop bar opening in downtown Colorado Springs. Ryze Skyline Lounge opens its doors on the top floor of the Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Downtown on Sept. 18. The refined and intimate rooftop cocktail lounge features sweeping views of Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the surrounding Front Range. The chic cocktail bar will serve a small, thoughtful menu of shareable dishes alongside a robust menu of creative cocktails starring Colorado-based spirits. Wine and beer selections are available as well.
Designed to be a destination for locals and travelers alike, Ryze invites guests to explore seasonal and regional ingredients in dishes designed for sharing, such as bison sliders, elk carne asada tacos, lamb meatballs and Rocky Mountain trout dip. The cocktail menu shines with spirits from Colorado producers including Old Elk Distillery, Wood’s High Mountain Distillery and others.

“We offer our guests an elevated atmosphere with the most stunning views of Colorado Springs and the surrounding mountains,” says Joseph Valentino, food and beverage director of Ryze. “We are also offering truly elevated bites and cocktails. There is so much creativity and effort behind the bar, and we can’t wait for our clientele to sit down around the outdoor fire pits, sip a truly elegant cocktail and take in our beautiful mountainside city.”
Signature cocktails include the smoky Ryze from the Ashes, built with Divino Maguey mezcal, Bruto Americano, Averna Amaro, Hellfire bitters, tobacco bitters and Fernet. Something in the Orange is an Aperol spritz with blood orange gin. And the tropical Gold Member features pineapple rum, banana liqueur and pineapple brown sugar gomme syrup.

The 1,800-square-foot lounge fosters an airy, polished environment with dark, calming greens and grounding natural elements like rich leather and wood. It has seating to accommodate 100 people throughout its dining room and outdoor patio, and its social seating arrangements include two long banquettes on the spacious outdoor patio, as well as seating around five communal fire pits. A small nook for 10 can be reserved as a semi-private space, and the lounge is available for full buyouts.
“We’re excited to introduce Colorado Springs to Ryze Skyline Lounge this fall and offer a worldly cocktail bar with the best views around,” says Vikrant Sud, general manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Downtown.

Ryze will start taking walk-ins and reservations, which are highly encouraged, on Thursday, Sept. 18. The lounge is open Tuesday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to close. Ryze is closed on Mondays.
The 11-story, 168-room Hilton Garden Inn opened in late 2019 at the corner of Cascade Avenue and Bijou Street.
