The concept is simple. Download or print a Restaurant Bingo card and fill in five spaces in a row at local eateries. Options include “Ordered tacos from _____,” “Got a cocktail at _____” and “Chowed down on some pasta at _____.” Other general spaces make it even easier to score a bingo with the likes of “Had a date night at _____,” “Masked up at _____” and “Treated myself at _____.” You can eat in or carry out.
By participating in Restaurant Bingo, players who complete a bingo and follow the rules to submit will receive an exclusive Colorado Springs restaurant sticker, a free drink coupon at a surprise restaurant and an entry to win the grand prize. The grand prize includes:
- A one-night stay at the new, downtown boutique hotel Kinship Landing (opening late 2020)
- Two tickets to the newly opened U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum
- A VIP Pikes Peak Region Attractions pass
- $200 gift card to dine and shop at local businesses
The campaign blends creative experiences for diners with support for local restaurants as they transition to the fall and winter seasons, when cooler weather will bring challenges to socially distanced outdoor dining. “Our local restaurants have been hit especially hard during the pandemic,” said Jane Blazer, secretary at the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, in a press release. “Restaurant Bingo is a fun initiative that will encourage residents and visitors to support these businesses through dining out or ordering takeout.”
To play, follow the instructions to download or print a Restaurant Bingo card and submit completed bingos. Restaurant Bingo ends Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. MT. Submit your bingos by emailing Jane Blazer at Jane@VisitCOS.com, or email her with any questions.
