It’s the 30th season for Sky Sox baseball, and the third season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

“The Brewers boast one of the best farm systems in Minor League Baseball, and a host of young and exciting talent will be on display this season at Security Service Field,” says Nick Dobreff, public relations director. “We look forward to continuing that momentum and building off of a second place finish in the Pacific Coast League American North Division.”

Mascot Showdown

FOX VS. GOAT

We couldn’t help but wonder: If Ziggy and Sox decided to take things outside, who would win the battle?

Ziggy the Goat, Switchbacks

Strengths: Horns, endurance, power, perfect teeth

Sox the Fox, Sky Sox

Strengths: Ears, experience, agility, fantastic unicycling

Decision: In a close battle, the experience of Sox holds off Ziggy in the early stages and allows the wily fox the upper paw in the end. But Ziggy still has the movie-star smile.
