Jinya Ramen Bar is bringing its signature spin on Japanese comfort food to downtown Colorado Springs in spring 2025. The new restaurant will open in the former home of Steel Pan PnP and Iron Bird Brewing at 402 S. Nevada Avenue.
Founded in Japan in 2000 and launched in the U.S. in 2010, Jinya has become one of the fastest-growing Asian restaurant concepts in the U.S., according to Nation’s Restaurant News. With more than 60 locations across North America and three in Colorado (Denver, Fort Collins and Black Hawk), the brand’s expansion into Colorado Springs adds another milestone to its rapid growth.
The ramen restaurant is known for its rich broths, extensive vegetarian offerings, inventive small plates and sleek, modern atmosphere. Jinya Ramen Bar also features a well-developed menu with a wide variety of dishes that serve varying dietary preferences.
The Flying Vegan Harvest features thick noodles in a vegan miso broth, topped with Impossible meat, tofu, broccolini, bean sprouts, corn, red and green onions, crispy garlic and chili seasoning. Another standout meatless option is the Brussels Sprouts Tempura, served crispy and finished with white truffle oil.
For those craving heat, the Spicy Chicken Ramen delivers bold flavor with thin noodles, spicy bean sprouts, chicken chashu and a seasoned egg in a rich chicken broth. The menu also includes pan-fried gyoza, steamed pork buns (Nikuman), sushi, rice bowls and Japanese curry.
Whether you’re a seasoned ramen enthusiast or simply curious to try something new, Jinya’s arrival offers a fresh option to the downtown Colorado Springs dining scene.
