The last few years have seen a renaissance in the local dining scene as both the quantity and quality of restaurants has boomed. And then came COVID. It’s no secret that restaurants and bars have been hit hard by the pandemic, or that they are facing a long, hard winter. Simply put, they need a little help and a whole lot of love from the community.
That’s why Visit Colorado Springs (VCOS) is asking everyone to be a local business hero by supporting local restaurants, breweries and distilleries this winter. To help, VCOS has created an ongoing list of local eateries with outdoor dining and heated patios. You can always bundle up and eat in the socially distanced outdoor patios — and share with the hashtag #bundleup — or order carryout, purchase a gift card or support your favorite hot spots by leaving a good review.
So where can you get your favorite dishes and drinks now? Here’s the list as of Dec. 10. For daily updates, an interactive map, a list of restaurant closures and tips on ways to support local eateries, head to the VCOS webpage.
