12 Ways to Celebrate Spring Break at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum and Training Center

Dive into the spirit of Team USA with a full week of spring break activities and events at the museum and training center.

If you’re looking for fun things to do in Colorado Springs for spring break, why not jump into the spirit of Olympic City USA? We’re less than a year out from the next Winter Games in Milano Cortina, Italy. And while the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum and U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center are always pulsing with Team USA spirit, the USOPM is going full spring break mode with Spring Into Victory special events. 

During March 24-30, the museum will be open seven days a week with a full schedule of interactive experiences. Spring Into Victory is a great chance to reflect on the achievements of America’s greatest athletes, engage with their stories and enjoy hands-on activities that celebrate their dedication and perseverance.

Here are 12 ways to celebrate Spring Break in Olympic City USA.

1. Try Curling.

Slide a stone and give the sport of curling a try all day, every day in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum atrium. 

2. Play Museum Trivia.

Think you’re a guru of the Games? Know your Team USA history? Test your knowledge at the USOPM all day, daily. 

3. See Artifact Demonstrations.

Every day in the museum from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can see special demos that bring to life the unique artifacts of the Olympics and Paralympics. 

4. Watch a Laser Pistol Demonstration.

5. Meet an Olympian.

Two-time Olympian shooter Alexis Lagan will do a meet and greet session on Wednesday, March 26, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the USOPM.

6. Meet a Paralympian.

Yan Xiao Gong, a 2024 Paralympian in shooting, will be available for a meet and greet at the museum from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

7. Meet an Olympic Wrestler.

Jacarra Winchester, 2020 Olympic wrestler, hosts a meet and greet at the Olympic museum on Saturday, March 29, 12-1 p.m.

8. Join the Scavenger Hunt.

Explore the USOPM on a museum-wide scavenger hunt on Saturday, March 29, 1-3 p.m. Hosted by TrueSport, an initiative of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that promotes positive character development through sports, the event encourages visitors to explore exhibits while learning about the core values of sportsmanship, respect and perseverance. 9. Score a deal on Colorado Resident Saturday. 

Starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, Colorado residents can enjoy the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Museum for only $10 with valid Colorado ID. Out-of-state visitors are also welcome and receive 20% off their tickets when accompanied by a Colorado resident.

10. Tour the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center

Before the legendary athletes make it into the museum, many of them live and train at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center. It’s open to the public with daily tours, and you’re probably see athletes working toward their Olympic and Paralympic dreams. Find hours and ticket info at teamusa.com/visit.

11. Get the best deal with a Podium Package.

12. Ride the Velodrome.
