Mochi Thai’m Donuts & Boba shop will open a second location at Interquest this summer. The popular gluten-free donut shop is spearheaded by owner Sakeo Williams, who also owns the popular Thai Lily restaurant. Williams started the mochi donut venture in 2020 during the COVID-19 shutdown. Seeing a positive response to the unique treats paved the way for Williams and co-owners Tamara and Greg San Agustin to open their first brick-and-mortar Mochi Thai’m location near the Citadel Mall in 2022.
Mochi Thai’m offers a menu that’s entirely gluten-free, utilizing glutinous rice flour instead of wheat. All of the donuts are fried and glazed fresh to order. From classic glazed to innovative flavors like thai iced tea and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, guests can expect a memorable donut experience in a friendly atmosphere.
The new location will be located in the Victory Ridge shopping center, near In-N-Out Burger. For more information about Mochi Thai’m and updates on the opening of their second donut shop, visit @Mochi.Thaim.donuts.
The Interquest location is targeted for a June 2024 opening.
It’s original location is at 721 N. Academy Blvd.
