Lynne Hastings

Lynne Hastings is an actor, director and producer in Colorado Springs. She is also a mom, wife, little sister — and a lover of Colorado Springs. “Having lived here since 1984, it’s a very different city now,” she says. “And I love it because it’s evolved.” Since childhood, Lynne has enjoyed singing, dancing and performing, even when she was just a little girl in front of a mirror. She has lived in Colorado Springs since 1984, and her first professional performance was "The Wiz" at the Fine Arts Center with the Colorado Springs Music Theater during high school. After college, she attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Conservatory program and worked in New York City before returning to Colorado in 1995. Lynne estimates she has been involved in 30-some productions locally. Her all-time favorite acting performance was in "Happy Days" by Samuel Beckett. Her favorite musical role is Motormouth Maybelle in "Hairspray."
