The House of David Music Center is providing an afternoon tea with live music provided by students. All proceeds benefit the Center's scholarship fund, which provides scholarship lessons for community members who cannot afford the full cost of lessons.

We currently support 65+ students on partial scholarships and we need your help!

I am so incredibly thankful for this community and the continued support:

Since August we have handed out $13,810 directly to students in the form of tuition reduction.
We received $2,200 from Ute Pass Kiwanis, $1,000 from Lyons Club.
With these wonderful partners, this total was brought to $10,610.

We were desperately hoping for some scholarships and grants to come through. We are constantly applying for them (this month $8,000).

Additionally, CHE (Colorado Homeschool Enrichment, Community Partnership Family Resource Center, Aspen Mine Center have also sponsored 14 students (outside of our funding)!

Please come support these efforts by joining us Saturday May 30, at 4:00 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center. Afternoon Tea Fundraiser

A Blue Moon is more than a beautiful sight in the night sky. Because it appears so rarely, it has long been seen as a powerful moment for reflection, breakthrough, and personal transformation — a time when many people feel called to release what no longer aligns and step into a new chapter of growth.

Blue Moon Sound Bath is designed as a deeply restorative space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and tune into the quiet wisdom within. These rare lunar moments are often associated with heightened intuition and emotional clarity, making them a powerful time to reflect on where you’ve been and where you’re ready to go next.

As the room fills with the layered tones of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other soothing instruments, the body begins to relax and the nervous system gently shifts into a state of deep calm. The vibrations of sound move through the body like soft waves, helping release built-up tension while inviting the mind into a peaceful, meditative state.

Many participants experience these moments as deeply centering — a chance to clear emotional weight, reconnect with their intentions, and gain a renewed sense of clarity and direction.

Under the rare and luminous energy of the Blue Moon, this evening becomes a powerful opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign with the life that is waiting to unfold.

Come rest, release, and allow the sound to guide you back to your center.

"Shifting Scenes" — Live

Experience the extraordinary talent of Ernest Aines, an acclaimed Australian singer-songwriter redefining the live music experience.

Blending heartfelt lyricism, intricate guitar work, and a voice described as flowing “like water over mossy rocks,” Ernest brings his brand-new show Shifting Scenes to the stage. This fresh performance introduces electric guitar alongside his renowned finger-style playing, expanding the emotional and sonic range of his work.

Ernest has earned international recognition for his captivating sound, drawing comparisons to Ray LaMontagne, Bon Iver, and Nick Drake. A two-time Australian Folk Artist of the Year nominee (2023 & 2024), his debut album Spiral Bound has surpassed a million streams, with Rhythms Magazine calling it “a sonic tapestry that is just breathtaking.”

Recent highlights include a standout performance at the 2024 Cambridge Folk Festival, an archived performance at Folk Alliance International (2023) by the Library of Congress, and an appearance at the renowned Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow. Sold-out shows and live performances on the BBC have further cemented his reputation as one of the most compelling artists of his generation.

Don’t miss the chance to experience Ernest Aines live — a soul-stirring evening of music that transports, connects, and lingers long after the final note.
