What’s the best restaurant in Colorado Springs? Who has the best burgers? What’s your favorite brewery? Or theater? Or bank, doctor, mechanic, hair stylist or tattoo artist?
For years, Springs has asked questions like these, highlighting many of our city’s best businesses and amenities. We’ve relied on our expert writers and you for insightful lists like Best Restaurants, Best Breweries, Restaurants With a View and more.
Now we’re taking things to a whole new level. Welcome to Springs’ People’s Choice Awards presented by Gold Hill. This new annual contest will identify the best of the best of Colorado Springs restaurants, businesses, service providers and more. The best part? It’s all based on your voting! And it all starts now!
What’s the Process for the People’s Choice Awards?
Right now, it’s time to nominate your favorites. But here’s the whole People’s Choice schedule:
Nominations: Sept. 25 – Oct. 16, 2025
Tell us all your favorites, from your favorite cocktail bar and doughnut shop to your most beloved boutique, bike shop, middle school, veterinarian, chiropractor, yoga studio, museum and more. Be sure to tell all your friends too. This is like the primaries or voting round one — only the Top 3 nominees in each category will advance to the final voting round. So get those nominations in!
Each person can make nominations once a day. We encourage you to nominate in every category, but you don’t have to. You can just tell us the favorites you really love in their respective categories.
Voting: Oct. 30 – Nov. 19, 2025
Time to vote! Here’s where the best of the best rise to the top. Tell your friends so they can vote too. And if you’re a nominee, use your emails, social media and in-store interactions to encourage all your clients or customers to vote for you. There will be only one top vote-getter crowned with a People’s Choice Award. Like the nomination round, you can vote once a day.

And the winner is …! Check our website. Watch for our newsletter. Follow our social on Instagram and Facebook. This is the day we announce the People’s Choice award winners — the best of the best that make Colorado Springs an amazing place to live, work and play!

If you’re a business owner and see a category that’s a fit (or maybe more than one), your business can be nominated for the People’s Choice Awards. (Yes, self-nominations are OK!)
