Looking for an excuse to get out and try some of the best new restaurants in Colorado Springs? (As if you needed an excuse.) Pikes Peak Restaurant Week is back with a variety of discounts and special menu items from Friday, April 22 through Sunday, May 1.
“We’ve had so much expansion in our restaurant community over the last year,” says Alexea Veneracion, director of communications at Visit COS. “Restaurant Week is the prime time to get out and try something new with friends and family.”
Hosted by Visit COS and the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association (PPCRA), Pikes Peak Restaurant Week is an annual celebration of local restaurants and dining out. It also generates support for the local restaurant scene while bringing the community together.
Unlike previous years, there will not be a digital passport to download with multi-course menu options. Instead, restaurants are offering a variety of discounts and deals throughout the week.
“Our restaurants have faced many challenges over the last couple years, so we wanted to ensure this year’s event could be customized to their individual needs,” says Jane Dalecio, secretary of the PPCRA. “Restaurants can opt in to offer any deal or discount they’d like throughout the week.”
All you have to do is show up at some of Colorado Springs best restaurants and look for the Restaurant Week specials.
Here are our tips for how to make the most of Restaurant Week.
