Weber Street Kitchen Brings Comfort Food to The Well

The Well food hall rounds out its lineup with Weber Street Kitchen, the latest concept from the Blue Star Group.

The Blue Star Group has opened its second restaurant at The Well since partnering with the downtown food hall earlier this year. Weber Street Kitchen opened in late March on the heels of La’au’s Taco Shop, which opened in early February.

Inspired by memories of good times and good food, Weber Street Kitchen’s menu focuses on classic comfort food, including hand-breaded chicken tenders, homemade mac and cheese and soft pretzel bites. The concept may feel familiar for its ties to the Ivywild Kitchen, also owned by the Blue Star Group. When creating the menu, Will Merwin, head of culinary for the Blue Star Group, recognized the popularity and craving for simple, American classics at Ivywild Kitchen, then made a few tweaks for the Weber St Kitchen menu.

“People especially rave about our chicken tenders at Ivywild Kitchen, so I wanted to offer the same exceptional product but with new spice and sauce options to make the Weber Street Kitchen a little different,” Merwin said in a press release.

The Hot Chicken Sandwich and Popcorn Chicken are a few of the new takes on chicken at Weber Street, in addition to a classic cheeseburger and crisp wedge salad. Kid specific menu items include a grilled cheese, a burger, chicken tenders and fries.

Weber Street Kitchen rounds out the seasonal lineup of restaurant concepts at the Well. The collaborative, community-minded space will continue its full schedule of events, and the warming weather will bring a return of patio season to the food hall’s popular outdoor space. The Well’s current lineup of restaurants is:

Gift Horse Bar & Cafe

Formosa Bites

La’au’s Taco Shop

Giddy Up & Go
