After a long buildup, the new coffee shop has opened in the historic Mining Exchange Hotel called Blk Mgk.
The new high-craft, full-service coffee bar uses fresh beans roasted in the Springs by Hold Fast Coffee Co. to offer everything from drip and cold brew to cortados and flat whites.
But Blk Mgk doesn’t stop at coffee. It offers a couple of signature cocktails of “potions” like the Martiki, made with cold brew, Crested Butte-distilled Montanya Oro rum, bitters, coconut cream, macadamia, saline and bitter cube. And the Mgk Mimosa features Denver based Infinite Monkey Theorem wine. The food menu also features a number of small plates, sandwiches, pastries and breakfast and lunch dishes.
