There’s a new Japanese restaurant on the Westside. Japon soft opened on April 3 near Garden of the Gods Boulevard and Centennial Road and is now fully open.

This is the second location for Japon. The original is in Denver at 3550 E. Colfax Avenue. Its owners opened with this goal: “to share real Japanese food made with care and honesty.”

We were unable to reach them for comment, but according to their website, the “food is inspired by classic Japanese cooking, made simple for everyday life.”

The menu features signature sushi rolls, ramen and bento selections. And Japon’s social media says its Top five dishes are Tonkatsu Ramen, Chicken Karage, Kabuki Sushi Combo, Bento, Hawaiian Poke Bowl.

Japon is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
