There’s a new coffee landmark in town — make that Landmarks Coffee, which opened earlier this month downtown. You may have seen the
downtown coffee shop as a food truck around town in recent years. Now it boasts a permanent, brick-and-mortar location along the walking park between Weidner Field and the Experience at Epicenter apartments. It’s right down the row from the Brit Pub if you want another reference point.
The craft coffee shop is owned by Brandon and Toni Watts, who bill their small business as “your local caffeine dealer.” Don’t be surprised to see Brandon pulling shots behind the counter.
“We can’t wait to show you what we have in store,” the couple posted on social media leading up to their grand opening. “More than just a coffee shop, we’re building a space focused on community, connection, and getting to know the people who walk through our doors.”
Landmarks coffee beans are roasted exclusively by the Denver-based Corvus Coffee Roasters.
The menu features a full range of espresso-based beverages, plus some signature lattes including the Trailblazer (lavender and vanilla) and the Summit (salted caramel and white mocha). The Lavender Matcha is a regular favorite, and you’ll find a range of Altitude Energy drinks that combine caffeine and electrolytes. There are non-coffee drinks as well, plus a few pastries, a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. Watch for fun monthly and seasonal specials as well.
The new space will host live music and community events. It’s open seven
7 days a week, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. And there’s a curbside pickup parking spot on S. Sierra Madre Street.
