Lazy Susan’s Cocktail Lounge made its grand debut in October, transforming the former Batch Slapped Brewery space at Powers and Palmer Park into a chic spot with moody vibes. Owners Susan Gates and Stephon Black also operate Bloom Ultra Lounge downtown.
The menu of sophisticated sips features wine, beer and craft cocktails. The standout Boozy Susie is a refreshing blend of vodka, watermelon, strawberry, lemon, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and a splash of prosecco. Nibbles include sandwiches, dips and build-your-own charcuterie boards. Stop in on Sundays for happy hour prices all day that include $5 appetizers, wells, wines, bloody mary’s and mimosas. There are additional specials on signature cocktails.
Current hours run Monday through Thursday from 3 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 1 a.m., and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. The space is also available for events and private parties – it’s perfect for birthday and bachelorette celebrations.
