Mountain Mike’s Pizza has opened its first restaurant in Colorado Springs. The California-based chain is known for its crispy, curly pepperonis, mountain-sized pizzas and fresh-made dough.

The new pizza restaurant is located in Northgate. The menu will feature the brand’s signature pizzas, including an aptly named Pikes Peak pizza,

as well as the brand’s popular weekday lunch buffet. And, yes, you can order heart-shaped pizzas just in time for Valentine’s Day.

This is Mountain Mike’s first El Paso County location and second in Colorado after the brand’s first restaurant in Colorado opened in Parker in 2023. The new Colorado Springs location is owned and operated by local husband-and-wife duo Isaac and Allie Brandon, who have exclusive rights to develop at least two additional Mountain Mike’s locations in the Springs.

“We are proud to introduce Mountain Mike’s Pizza to our Colorado Springs neighbors, and we are confident they will find it to be a welcoming spot for family gatherings, game days and everything in between,” Isaac Brandon said. “Opening in our own backyard offers us a meaningful way to further engrain ourselves in our community, from serving up handcrafted pizzas to actively engaging with and giving back to local groups, and we are ecstatic at the opportunity to make Mountain Mike’s a true neighborhood staple.”

The 3,200-square-foot Mountain Mike’s Pizza offers a family-friendly atmosphere that is also great for team parties, family get-togethers or office gatherings. Nine big-screen televisions make it a winning destination for sports fans. The Colorado Springs restaurant also includes an all-you-can-eat pizza and salad bar, weekday lunch buffet, domestic and craft beer on tap, a varied wine selection, kids’ arcade games and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Diners can enjoy Mountain Mike’s pizza whether dining in, carrying out or via delivery.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza opened its first restaurant 45 years ago in Palo Alto, California. It has long served the Western U.S. with “Pizza the Way it Oughta Be,” and the brand is rapidly expanding into new markets across the country.
