Ritual Hot House celebrated its grand opening in downtown Colorado Springs July 11, bringing a new modern sauna and contrast therapy experience to Pikes Peak Avenue.
The new women-owned wellness destination offers a modern wellness experience centered on contrast therapy combining heat, cold, breath, steam, sound and intentional recovery in a welcoming community space. The studio’s mission is to help people feel clear, grounded and fully alive by creating space for the contrast of heat and cold, stillness and energy, solitude and connection.
“Our vision has always been to create more than a wellness studio,” said owner Cassandra Matkin in a statement. “We wanted to build a space where people can reconnect with themselves and each other.”
Whether they come alone or with others, guests follow self-guided sessions, allowing them to move through the sauna, cold plunge, steam, breath work and sound experiences at their own pace. Team members are available to provide guidance when desired.
“We’re thrilled to bring Ritual Hot House to Downtown Colorado Springs and introduce a wellness experience that empowers people to prioritize their physical and mental well-being,” Matkin said.
Ritual Hot House is designed as both a sanctuary and gathering place, welcoming locals, athletes, creatives and anyone seeking to recharge. Guests will find thoughtfully designed communal spaces that encourage connection while respecting moments of quiet and personal renewal.
“We’re excited to welcome Ritual Hot House to Downtown Colorado Springs,” said Kelsee Swenn, marketing manager for Downtown Partnership. “As a women-owned, local business, Ritual Hot House brings a fresh perspective to downtown while expanding opportunities for residents, employees and visitors to invest in their health and well-being. It’s exactly the kind of innovative business that contributes to a vibrant, thriving downtown.”
