The Homestead Collective

The food hall concept brings Till Kitchen back to Briargate along with Garden of the Gods Cafe, Dad’s Donuts and more.

In one sense, restaurateur Mitch Yellen is bringing his original vision full circle. In another sense, The Homestead Collective is a reimagining of the restaurants within his Altitude Hospitality group. The new restaurant hub will open in phases through spring and early summer 2025, bringing Till Kitchen back to its original home along with other Altitude concepts, familiar and new.

The farm-to-table Till Kitchen originally opened in 2016 in the 17,000-square-foot building at the gateway to the Cordera community before relocating downtown in 2021 to a shared building with Altitude’s Garden of the Gods Market & Cafe and Vine and Wheel. The modern fine-dining restaurant is on our list of Best Restaurants in the Springs. Now it will open a second location as part of the Homestead Collective.

Homestead’s building has most operated as The Pinery North wedding and event center. Now it will host a unique mix of local flavors and experiences. Alongside Till Kitchen will be a second location of Garden of the Gods Cafe and the popular Dad’s Donuts. Roost Coffee house, part of the original lineup with Till, will return. So will the Mercantile market. Campfire Pizza will be a new restaurant concept in the mix offering Neapolitan wood-oven pizzas.

The restaurant hub will introduce its offerings through a multiphase opening. Dad’s Donuts, Roost Coffee and Campfire Pizza are scheduled to make their official debut at The Homestead Collective this spring. The north-side outposts of Garden of the Gods Cafe and Till Kitchen are expected to open in early summer.

Along with its elevated food and drink concepts, the Homestead Collective will also feature live entertainment, rental event spaces and grand opening promotions.
