The spot on N. Academy Blvd. was once home to Pikes Perk coffee shop and then Jarhead Coffee. Now it is welcoming a new eatery, Treehouse Cafe. Co-owner Sarah Grant and the Treehouse Cafe team have been hard at work giving the space a makeover, complete with fresh coats of green paint and new flooring.
While a cafe, the mission of Treehouse Cafe is to foster community engagement and connection. Grant has even gone so far as to ask locals to donate fun, quirky mugs that add a homey touch to the space.
