A new Ziggi’s Coffee location is on its way to Monument, offering a welcoming, lodge-style space designed for locals to gather in the Jackson Creek neighborhood. The store is owned by Monument residents Greg and Jill Bland, the husband-and-wife franchisees behind the three other Ziggi’s locations in Colorado Springs.
Set to open in June or July — weather permitting — the Monument cafe will feature a warm, mountain-inspired design with barnwood accents, stonework and a copper roof. “We’re very excited about this new store,” Greg Bland says. “It’s something we’ve dreamed of — creating a community gathering spot right here in our hometown.”
The design intentionally takes advantage of the Front Range views, especially from the outdoor patio. Inside, a double-sided stone fireplace will offer a welcoming space for guests to connect, study or simply enjoy a quiet cup of coffee.
The Blands are raising their family in Monument, and that local connection fuels their passion for creating spaces that serve the community. “We want this to be a place where people feel at home,” Greg says.
Ziggi’s Coffee, which started in Longmont in 2004, has grown into a national brand with more than 50 locations in the U.S. from coast to coast. The menu includes a variety of coffee and tea drinks along with energy drinks, smoothies, breakfast burritos and pastries. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available.
The Monument location marks the fourth store for the Blands, and the first right in their own neighborhood.
