Looking for new sips and beautiful beverages? Here’s a look at some of the new watering holes around town for cocktails, mocktails, beer, coffee, tea and more.

We rounded up our annual list of hot new restaurants and realized there’s a lot more than just food on the brand new menus. So here’s a list of 15 buzzy new coffeehouses, tea rooms, breweries and bars in Colorado Springs that opened in 2024. Our pairing recommendations include morning eye-openers, between-meal snacks, after-work happy hours and night-out drinks. Cheers!

The best new bar in the Springs for views? That’s easily the Aviator at the Hotel Polaris, blending midcentury modern vibes with expansive views of the U.S. Air Force Academy and Front Range. Check out our preview article.

Crooked Cue

When the Tattered Cover left downtown, restaurateur Joe Campana created a stylish new billiards hall and barcade in its place. He ran the table with pool, darts, shuffleboard, pinball and a full cocktail, pizza and apps menu. Read more here.

Golden Hour

The Mining Exchange completed extensive renovations and put a gilded edge on its lobby bar. With craft cocktails, a full menu and jazz nights, Golden Hour became a new go-to for date night.

Gratitude

This fully zero-proof cocktail bar brought a new sober space to OCC’s Sluice building  — and it claims the oldest wall in El Paso County. The menu is full of impressive, complex mocktails.

Icons

After a nearly year-long displacement due to a downtown fire, Icons returned to a new location late. The downtown musical gay bar is even bigger and better.

Lazy Susan’s Cocktail Lounge

Girls night out on the east side got an upgrade this fall when the owners of downtown Bloom Ultra Lounge opened the swanky Lazy Susan’s in Cimarron Hills. Read more here.

Louie Louie’s Piano Bar

South Park Brewing

After nearly a decade of brewing in Fairplay, South Park Brewing relocated to the Springs, opening its new brewpub in the former Smiling Toad.

WestFax Brewing

The popular Denver brewery known for lagers, IPAs and being the next-door neighbor to Casa Bonita expanded south to the Westside of Colorado Springs. And it added a great new deck and patio for scenic sipping. Read the details in our article here.

Hot New Colorado Springs Coffee Shops and Tea Houses

The bewitching new coffeehouse inside the Mining Exchange lobby drew inspiration from the hotel’s Gold Rush history. You’ll find a unique menu full of tinctures, tonics, infusions and potions.

Kochi Boba

Kochi opened in May with a menu full of Vietnamese comfort food, including mochi doughnuts, pho, bahn mi, Vietnamese coffee and, of course, boba and bubble teas.
