Where to Find the Best Pizzas in the Springs

So where do you find the best pizzas in Colorado Springs? There’s no shortage of local pizza restaurants. These are our picks for Top 10 pizzas in in the Springs.

Pizzeria Rustica

Considered by many as a gem in Old Colorado City, this Italian-inspired pizzeria crafts Neapolitan pies in the traditional method, baked in a wood-fired oven that was made by a Colorado Springs mason. Following the Neapolitan process to prepare the dough, Pizzeria Rustica  incorporates a special twist by blending imported Italian flour with organic Colorado whole wheat flour, prepared by hand every day. There is a strong emphasis on artisanal toppings, organically and sustainably sourced whenever possible, paired with an impressive selection of wine and beer, all at approachable price points.

Slice420

This New York-style pizza parlor serves gourmet pies and slices to patrons on both sides of Colorado Springs, with its OG location in Old Colorado City, and a colorful east-side shop with ample seating. The high-quality ingredients, thin-crust presentation and oversized slices make this a must for NY pizza lovers. (It was a standout when we wrote about the Best New York Style Pizza in the Springs.) Although Slice420 does not sell infused foods, their mission  statement to acknowledge the health benefits of medical marijuana is stamped right on their pizza box. Co-owners Christian and Stefany moved to Colorado to gain access to THC, which has been a life-changing treatment for their daughter, who suffers from epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
