Steven Hayward

Steve Hayward is Editor at Large of Springsmag.com, as well as a Professor of English at Colorado College and Director of the Colorado College Journalism Institute. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Hayward has published four books of fiction, including the Canadian bestseller Don’t Be Afraid. His latest book is the nonfiction Great Speech!: A Simple & Proven Blueprint to Crafting Keynotes & Signature Talks. He is also the writer and director of a documentary feature on Colorado College’s Block Plan and author of TEDx talks. Steve’s many adventures for Springs magazine have included seeking out the best tacos in town, throwing axes, reviewing a $300k bathroom and venturing into a clothing-optional hot spring. As shown here, he is currently in his Einstein era.
