The streets of Manitou turn into a fully funky and macabre festival to honor the town’s most famously dead resident. Happening since 1995, the annual Emma Crawford Coffin Races are reportedly the oldest in the nation. There won’t be any tricks at Boo at the Bridge, only treats as local businesses and nonprofits gather at Royal Gorge Bridge to fill your bags with candy and goodies. When your bag is too heavy to carry, sit for a spell and enjoy some spooky tunes from the local Deja Bluz band. Kids can also meet and learn about live animals, including snakes and rabbits. The festival happens 4-7:30 p.m.
Family Fall Crawl

The Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum welcomes friends and family to have some festive fall fun during Family Fall Crawl at 2 p.m. During your stroll, you’ll visit five interactive art and history stations, such as Culinary Creativity, Natural Wonders and Pumpkin Fun. Costumes are encouraged. Treats and prizes will be handed out to kids during the activities.

Lighted jack-o’-lanterns illuminate the way as you tour the Fountain Creek Nature trail and surrounding center area.
