Golden Pine Coffee Roasters

R&R Coffee Cafe, a hot spot for coffee lovers in Black Forest, closed this past fall, but owner Ryan Wanner wasn’t ready to give up.

Over several months since the cafe’s closing, Wanner considered locations around the city and kept operating at local farmers markets. Now he is returning to the Black Forest neighborhood, as he has announced on his social media channels.

Instead of opening another R&R Coffee Cafe, Wanner will open a shop under his roastery label, Golden Pine.  The new place will be a roastery and tasting room, offering samplings and tastings at first before offering espresso and coffee service. Considering the small size of the roastery — 700 square feet — Golden Pine will not serve food for the time being.
