There’s a new adrenaline rush at the Royal Gorge, and anyone can ride it. Royal Gorge Bridge & Park introduced Colorado’s first clear-floor gondola, offering visitors a breathtaking new way to take in the views of the Royal Gorge from above.

Two gondola carriages now feature a clear glass floor, allowing guests to look straight down into the Arkansas River below, creating a unique perspective with a thrill. The clear-floor gondola is included with park admission at no additional cost. Of course, guests have the option to ride in standard gondola cars if they don’t want to peer straight into the abyss below.

“This enhancement gives our guests a completely new way to experience the Royal Gorge,” said Fred Toney, vice president at Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. “Whether it’s your first visit or your 10th, the clear-floor gondola will deliver a moment of awe that truly changes how you’ll see the Gorge.”

The gondola ride is one of the park’s most popular attractions, providing panoramic views of the Royal Gorge Bridge, surrounding cliffs, and the Arkansas River far below. The addition of the clear-floor cars builds on that legacy by combining scenic beauty with a sense of adventure and discovery, while remaining accessible to families and guests of all ages.

The clear-floor gondola joins a lineup of signature attractions at Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, including America’s highest suspension bridge, the Cloudscraper Zipline, Royal Rush Skycoaster, Via Ferrata and a full calendar of events throughout the year.

The Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is open 365 days a year, weather permitting. Find more park details at RoyalGorgeBridge.com.
