Aloha meets Colorado: Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii opens third Colorado Springs location

Colorado Springs coffee lovers have a new destination to savor the spirit of Hawaii. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is now open at the corner of Bass Pro Drive and North Gate Boulevard, offering a taste of the islands just east of I-25.

The café offers dine-in seating for a relaxed coffee break but no drive-thru, staying true to its origins as a Hawaiian coffee house. Springsters looking to escape the winter blues will find an authentic Hawaiian coffee experience with a Bad Ass lineup of 100% Kona coffee and signature drinks like the Aloha Latte and Bad Ass Mocha. Beyond coffee, the menu features handcrafted energy drinks and breakfast and lunch sandwiches served on King’s Hawaiian sweet bread.

Owner and franchisee Lee Wilwerding, a local veterinarian and founder of Powers Pet Emergency Services, discovered his love for Hawaiian coffee while visiting the islands. The Polaris Point location marks the third Bad Ass Coffee shop in Colorado Springs, joining locations at Woodmen Heights and off Meridian Road in Falcon.
