Expansion is on the horizon for Grinder Sandwich Co., an east-side eatery started by three friends near the entrance of Schreiver and Peterson Space Force Bases. The locally owned shop’s second location in the Powers Corridor at Carefree Circle and Tutt Boulevard.
Grinders specializes in large namesake grinders, using meats smoked in-house, fresh bread from the Sourdough Boulangerie and infusing beer from next-door Dueces Wild Brewery. Diners can expect the same welcoming menu as the first location, which includes the Petey meatball grinder, the Johnny chicken sandwich and the Katie turkey, avocado and bacon sandwich.
The new location is expected to open in April, but keep an eye on their social media for updates.
6050 N. Carefree Cir.
