Vasa Fitness has opened its fourth Colorado Springs location, marking its first on the north side of the city. The new Briargate club, a 48,000-square-foot facility, joins existing gyms at 3020 N. Nevada Avenue near Fillmore, 455 E. Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard serving the south side and 5885 Palmer Park Blvd on the east side. Together, the four gyms create a citywide footprint that places Vasa within easy reach of most neighborhoods.
The Briargate site brings the full mix of cardio and strength equipment, functional turf, free weights and machines, along with a half-court basketball area and InBody body-composition testing. Members can also take part in three of Vasa’s Studio classes: Studio Red for high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Studio LFT for strength work and Studio Flow for infrared yoga.
Wellness offerings go beyond workouts, with an emphasis on recovery. In addition to a sauna, steam room, hot tub, red light therapy and massage chairs, this club debuts the brand’s first cold plunge, a new feature that reflects the growing importance of recovery as part of overall fitness.
Rich Nelsen, CEO of Vasa Fitness, notes how the new location responds to shifting expectations, “Today’s fitness consumer — especially Gen Z — is looking for a space that’s immersive, social and results-driven while still being affordable. This new club delivers all of that and more.”
Memberships start at $14.99 per month. Vasa’s north Colorado Springs opening completes a network of gyms spread across the city, offering a broad spectrum of training and recovery in every direction.
